Hundreds of residents gathered at a village pavilion during Bali Sehat Clinic's Healthy Day outreach in Desa Kesimpar

On June 5, 2026, Bali Sehat Clinic brought its mobile outreach program, Healthy Day, to the village of Kesimpar. Long before sunrise had fully settled over the village pavilion, rows of chairs were already filling with elderly residents, mothers carrying young children, and entire families who had walked or ridden together to receive free health screenings.

A Healthy Day Built on Community Trust

For many residents of Desa Kesimpar, the nearest clinic is a long and costly journey away. Healthy Day exists to close that gap, bringing essential medical services directly into the village where people live. Throughout the morning, the Bali Sehat medical team conducted blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and basic health consultations for hundreds of villagers, many of whom had never received a routine health screening before.

Students Lend a Helping Hand

This Healthy Day was made even more meaningful by the presence of on-job training students from Alfa Prima Karangasem. Dressed in their blue uniforms, the students assisted with patient registration, crowd coordination, and administrative support, gaining real hands-on experience in how a large-scale community health event comes together. For the students, it was a chance to step beyond the classroom and into the heart of public health work.

Donors Make It Possible

Healthy Day in Desa Kesimpar was also supported by international donors and volunteers, who traveled to the village to take part in the distribution of essential supplies and small gifts for children. Bags of basic necessities were handed out to families, while children left with their own small treasures, gifts that reflected the spirit of generosity behind every Healthy Day event.

Care Beyond the Clinic Walls

By the end of the day, the team had served hundreds of residents, from young children to elderly grandparents, in a single morning. Moments like a father carrying his daughter to be registered, or two young girls clutching their gift bags with quiet pride, captured what Healthy Day is really about: not just numbers, but individual lives touched, one family at a time.

Healthy Day in Desa Kesimpar is a reminder that healthcare should never depend on how far a family can travel or how much they can afford. With the continued support of donors, volunteers, and partner institutions like Alfa Prima Karangasem, Bali Sehat Clinic remains committed to bringing care directly to the communities that need it most.
